This past week we delivered cases of Bibles to our beautiful KaPaFu Folks! This is the village that asked for two things – Water and Jesus! We gave them a few water cones back in May and now they have their own Bibles!
We continue to disciple them one day a week but it’s our hope that they’ll now be able to read the Word and get fed every single day! Their village leader said they would read a scripture every night together.
Please continue to pray for ALL of the people we minister to – both in the Mole and surrounding villages! There is definitely a battle of good versus evil going on here EACH day – – but we’re slowly gaining ground for Him!

I’m not sure if you realized it or not but your post was written exactly one year after we first visited the village! It was September 18th, 2010 in the afternoon. An attempted “fun” trip to see some caves, turned into something so much more. It has been so humbling to watch this village grow. I can still remember Grant ministering to them under their meeting tree and I can only image watching them now with bibles in hand and solar lights sitting under the tree each night learning the word of God together.
I sit in awe of how God changed our path and placed us on the shore of this village, then continued with the loss of their boats through a great storm, to show them the love of christians as their boats were replaced, to fresh water, fishing gear, solar lights, food and now bibles. Each team that visited contributed something to this village but what I love most is seeing how God used us all to teach this village of his love. Through each visit, a lesson was taught…Jesus calms the storm, Jesus is the light, Fishers of men, fishes and loaves….and the list could go on and on.
I almost relate it to the movie previews we see on television…clips of the story that get you excited and interested to see more. I pray the few stories we shared excited them to learn more about how great our God truly is and now they are equipped to know!
Thank you for allowing me to see God’s word in action, to see this transformation and reassure us all that our God is an AWESOME GOD!
