Emmanuel, affectionately called Emmanu or Manu sometimes, is one friendly kid! He loves people, being around others or helping them out and he becomes friends with everyone he meets! And what a valuable friend Emmanuel is to have! He has a compassionate heart that looks out for others and is willing to serve. He will help his sisters when they get hurt or cheer up his brothers when they feel sad.

This kid loves to love. His compassion and heart for others allows him to welcome others in and make them feel comfortable. He can put others’ needs before his own as he willingly serves. He knows when people need a bright smile or a giant bear hug and he’s always there ready to share his joy and love!

This boy has such a cheerful and bubbly personality too! He has a big beautiful grin that is usually on his face no matter what and he also knows how to make others smile! He tells his brothers and sisters jokes to make them laugh or is just plain silly sometimes!

Today I want to circle this sweet boy in prayer! My prayer is that Manu will continue to grow in his faith as he builds a deeper relationship with Christ. I pray that he will also grow in his understanding of joy and love and that God will help him grow in these fruit. I pray that God would place ample opportunities in front of Emmanuel as he grows older, to love and encourage those right in front of him who are in need. I pray God would speak through this boy and use him to provide a timely word of encouragement or giant hug to those who just need to feel the love of God a little that day. I pray that this kid will continue to be a bright ray in the lives of others and that he will never stop smiling that beautiful, genuine smile that comes from the joy he has in the Lord. I want to circle this passage for Emmanuel today:

Romans 12:9-15
"Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection.Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep."
