Northwest Christian Church – Day 1

We wanted to let you know that the group arrived safely in the Mole! Today they walked around town, some hit the beach, some unpacked & some took on 35 rowdy orphans! 🙂

It was a GREAT day. They are exhausted but ready to hit the ground running tomorrow.

They will blog tomorrow. But feel free to leave comments. Comments will be read every night at dinner.

  3. What a wonderful sight! We miss you in Acworth, but can tell by your happy faces, God is in all over this trip!

  4. We are glad that everyone has arrived, particularly since 3 of you are family members (ha!). What an impact that you can make this week! You should know that as you grow others abroad, you are indirectly growing even the youngest at home through your stewardship, and it has a ripple affect. Today Hannah told me “Are they in Haiti? Wow, I’m proud of them. They’re doing a good thing. I told my teacher about it yesterday, and afterwards she told me that she always wanted to go to Haiti to help and that she needed to start saving her money.” Jacob says, “Grandma is in Haiti. Daddy is in Haiti. Jason is in Haiti. Next Jayden goes to Haiti. Angelina goes to Haiti. Mom, you are big. You need to go to Haiti, too. We all go to Haiti!” We pray that God grows you as you grow others and that God continues to use what you are doing in bigger ways that we can’t even imagine.

  15. Likely you are really getting acclimated to life in Haiti and making bunches of new friends on day 5! Have been praying specifically that you are a shining light and doors will just be flung open for you. Just to hear the name of Jesus is a gift. To know his love and mercy is priceless. We love and miss you all!
