Shively Christian Church….Day 4

The ladies spent another day in clinic today. We were able to get some meds counted and ready to dispense so Susan won’t get too behind in filling prescriptions after we’re gone. We were also able to put away some supplies and clean up the pharmacy. Some of us got to hold an adorable 3 month old girl, Islandie.

The guys did some maintenance projects around the campus today. The lawns look nice and trimmed. (But they failed to fix our commode seat – thanks guys LOL.)

VBS was this afternoon. We had fun with the kids and were able to share a lesson about Jesus’ resurrection. They sang happy birthday to Caitlin in Creole. We also loaded them up with candy. Sorry parents! It’s sad to know we won’t see them again (unless we make another trip, right?!), but we’ll take with us the memories of their shining faces and their laughter.

This evening, we’ll go up the mountain to show the movie, The Incredibles (in French!). We’re taking popcorn and kool-aid. It should be a good time. We’re looking forward to spending time with the people there.
