Texas Tech 2018 – Day 2…

This morning the team got their luggage, sorted their supplies, and prepared for our lock-in! We read all the comments at lunch today. If you commented after 1pm…we will read those tomorrow.

Since our lock-in started at 5pm – we ended up doing dinner with the kids. We had a bonfire. It went really smooth! So since we were with the kids – we weren’t able to read comments at dinner and the team wasn’t able to blog.

The teams were divided into 3 colors – red, green, and blue. They will do the majority of their activities with their group. I’m happy to report that indeed all 100 teenagers showed up! It’s been an amazing experience so far and it’s only 11pm. We will finish up around 7am tomorrow morning on the beach with a special baptism.

The team will probably blog tomorrow afternoon. I haven’t collected their pictures yet – but here are some we took from tonight!

Feel free to leave a comment -or you can wait until you read their post later tomorrow afternoon to hear from them directly.

  20. Katie, I finally saw pictures from the lock-in I think. Are you on he “blue” team. I’m thnking that because you and several others had blue bandannas or something similar ties around your hair. Anyway, I can hardly wait to hear from you.
Though of one of the gems told me by a veteran missionary on my first mission trip out of Mexico City. She said, “You have to be more than flexible on mission, you have to be fluid.” I learned that to be very true. Enjoy your day. Will be anxious to hear all the comments from Sunday’s experiences! Of course, I look for you in all the pictures. So would like to know each team member personally. This team is special…will never be repeated. Enjoy. 🙂 Little Gran
