It’s been a great Monday in Haiti! We did our last day of “Pouring Love Into” with the ladies and had a really great time. I pray that they feel loved, cherished and appreciated! This afternoon, we spent some time with the kids in smaller groups. Along with the interns, we set up stations with Playdough, chalk drawing, watercolor painting and Legos. We were painting pictures on paper crosses and one of the boys painted a picture of Jesus on the cross – one of the most moving things I’ve ever seen. This afternoon I attended Bible study with the Haitian ladies and had a wonderful experience! Once again, they amazed me. Jody gave away cash prizes for the ladies being on time to Bible study. At the end, these ladies took up an offering and several of the ladies put their money into the offering. We also played Hot Potato with the last three ladies winning cash prizes. When the lady who came in 2nd place came back to the table, she immediately tried to give part of the money to another lady. I am so humbled by these sweet, precious ladies who so willingly give to God. They have so few material possessions but are so rich in so many other things. We ended the study by going to the church grounds and praying for the church and for God’s Spirit to fill this place. Tomorrow we work in the clinic in the morning and pack in the afternoon. Please pray for us as we close out our trip – pray for us to continue to show God’s love to others and to continue to learn more about Christ from them. Can’t wait to see you all! Love and miss you all! -Karen
