I wrote this poem a few years ago…. each scenario something I’ve experienced. I feel compelled to share it again. This is just a reminder to teams how important it is to be the light in the darkness…. and to never stop praying that God will make Himself known to those who continue to suffer in silence.
We are SO excited to announce that on May 31st our Mole Missionary Family will grow by 5!! Matt and Lauren Epstein along with their 3 children (Genesis, Kelilah, & Micaiah) will be serving alongside our ministry as a family for a full year! WAHOO!
Today was a really exciting day! My group left at 6:30 a.m. and we went to a boating village called Kapafu. The boat ride was really quick and we got a nice cloud cover on the way back so that was amazing.
Today I had some kids open up to me. Today I got to preach the gospel. I had God speak through me today to be translated and to touch the hearts of the girls and give them a smile that makes us smile.
I spoke to all the girls about what it means to be a woman of God – how God sees us, how others see us, and how we see/should see ourselves. We ended up walking all the sweet girls home – a block or a mile – and got to meet and talk with their parents.
“This ministry is changing lives in our community (Mole St. Nicolas). It’s giving ladies who are often abused/mistreated a chance to support their family and stand on their own.
