Today was another awesome day at the Mole Mission. VBS was a blast with all of the kids coming in excited and ready. We have all bonded with many of them already. They learned about the real Christmas story, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Mop the puppet made her debut and many of the kids remembered her from the years before. I am sure they will be anxious to come again tomorrow! The Crossroads (The Chapel) team did an awesome job!
My personal highlight was leading a Worship Conference for some of the musicians and singers that will soon be making up the Worship Team of the church here at the mission. We talked about the meaning of worship and some practical ideas to get the team going strong. The Sharp family led a few songs together, which will be a special memory for the rest of our lives! Then they sang some songs for us! It was incredible to see and hear! I can’t wait to see how God puts this Worship Team together.
There has been a connection between our church and the Mole Mission for many years, but this is the first time the Sharps have been able to experience it. It is humbling, emotional and overwhelming. Thank you all for praying for us. Keep praying! God is changing and affecting lives this week…those here at the Mole and those from our church!
