Some of us led the youth group today. With an age range of 12-30 years old we weren’t really sure what to expect, but we didn’t get anyone older than high school. Maddy said that we should teach them a game called ninja, and they loved it! Then Paul taught us about the story of Jonah, he did so well for his first time preaching to anyone!
She wasn’t up there 5 minutes and the whole church was singing, dancing, & praising Jesus! I thought the majority would leave after we fed them. BUT – after being led by the Holy Spirit and spontaneous singing – almost everyone stayed to watch the Nativity!
The cross was a focal point of our evening service last night. At the service there was a time of worship, a skit, several performances by the church choirs and at the end we had a prayer tent available…
Then they had a craft with a cross and a bandaid and shared how God wants to heal their hurts as well. It was precious to see the kids place their bandaids/hurts on the cross.
I have never had a child hold onto me like some of these kids have before. I have never had a child look at me like the kids of the Mole have. I cannot put into words how these children make me feel.
Will you please pray for these ladies by name. Will you please pray that they will fall deeply in love with Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Savior? Will you pray for their families?
