After 33 hours of traveling, tons of soccer, sunshine, dirt, delicious food, warm hugs, some rain and lots of hand holding…. we made it to the second full day!
Today we had our second day of the girl’s sports camp – yesterday we played basketball, gaga ball, and soccer. Today we played volleyball, ping pong, and some more soccer (or chase the ball around in one large blob).
After all the fun and games we came in and I spoke to all the girls about what it means to be a woman of God – how God sees us, how others see us, and how we see/should see ourselves. We ended up walking all the sweet girls home – a block or a mile – and got to meet and talk with their parents.
Everyday I become more and more amazed of the beauty not only of this country but these people, and how God is moving in their lives and throughout their country. It’s full of lots of laughing, looking silly as we try to communicate in Creole, trying new things, and getting out of our comfort zones.
I’m amazed at the love and kindness shown by the entire community – the orphans, the mama’s, the town kids, their parents, their grandparents, and even their dogs. I am in love with the people, the country, and all the love – giving and receiving.

Between playing with orphans, digging a trench, eating some bomb diggity food, the beach, teaching English numbers, and lots of hugs… these past few days have been unlike any other.
I’m so utterly humbled. God is doing great things here and it’s such a blessing to take part in it. God bless you Mole and all of your belle people.

Hey dad, hey mom!
I don’t know if you’re following this blog site but if you are, I just wanted to say we made it here alive and well, haha. We rode a bus for 10 hours from Port-au-Prince to the Mole. It was amazing, and the people and children of Mole are amazing! It’s so pretty here!!
My group got to go to one of the fishing villages by boat and pray and hang out with them. I got everybody to play red rover, and we all had a great time! Hope you are all doing well and I’ll see you soon!!!
