Let me introduce you to this sweet princess today!
Fabiola has come such a long way! This little girl has struggled on and off with some health issues and she has overcome so much. She is a fighter!
It has been a joy to see this little gal grow older and bigger and to see her develop her own sweet personality! Fabi loves to laugh and she has a way to make others laugh as well! She likes to play silly games that will make you laugh, like hide-n-seek or name games. Often this summer she would call my name and then proceed to hide or look away so I would copy those actions and we would continue on playing this little silly made-up game!
Fabiola is a bit shy but once she gets to know you, she will begin to open up and become a dear friend! Fabi loves all her siblings and likes to hang out with them, but she does have some siblings that are close friends! Fedna and Fabi have become sweet sisters to each other and they will laugh and play together! It’s a bit funny to see, the oldest sister spending time with one of the youngest and littlest sisters but these girls make a great pair! They seem to understand each other very well and they just have fun together! Fabi and Sony are also good buddies! They are around the same size and they both like to make-up some silly games to play together! It is sweet to see relationships being built between all these kids and to see them growing deeper, knitting all these kids together as one big family!
This girl has a smile that is so sweet and her light, melodic laugh will always make you smile back! She is full of a deep joy that will shine through in bursts, sometimes it’s hard to see but I know her heart is steadfast even when the external things around her change.
Fabi has a calmness and a sense of peace about her. When you spend time with her, playing together or holding her in your lap, you feel this sense of peace wash over you as well. I think Fabi, even as a small child, has a sense of trust and faith.
Today I want to pray for this sweet girl! I pray that she would continue to overcome any and all health challenges that come her way. I pray God will give her not only the strength but also the courage to march confidently ahead, unafraid of what the future may hold because she knows God is with her. I pray that God would not only strengthen her body but also strengthen her heart as He molds it to be more and more like His Son’s heart. I pray that Fabi’s joy will be strengthened and that she will continue to be steadfast through life, unmoved by the circumstances around her because her hope is placed in something higher and bigger than herself. I also pray that as she grows in faith that her understanding and knowledge of God’s sovereignty will give her true peace. I pray that she will see that God is in control and that He is the calm in the storm. He is with her, always.
