Our first week of Princess Camp is completed! Please continue to pray for wisdom. The stories and trauma these little girls have faced are heart-wrenching. Their needs are great and the answers aren’t simple
On May 5th, we invited 40 kids for a Glow In The Dark Party! It was complete with night-time games, a delicious spread of food & meat, wrapped gifts, toiletry bags, candy bags, popcorn, cake, and a flashlight egg hunt!
Honestly it’s simple. It starts with one person at a time – one child at a time – one step at a time. And while we aren’t running full blast with anything quite yet….at least we’re finally moving!
But the burning question remains – Who are they going to light their lamp for?
I wrote this poem a few years ago…. each scenario something I’ve experienced. I feel compelled to share it again. This is just a reminder to teams how important it is to be the light in the darkness…. and to never stop praying that God will make Himself known to those who continue to suffer in silence.
“This ministry is changing lives in our community (Mole St. Nicolas). It’s giving ladies who are often abused/mistreated a chance to support their family and stand on their own.
