What a wonderful Sunday! Today we got to teach a lesson and play a few games in the children’s church. I have never heard more giggles in my entire life. We taught the kids the story of Noah and how our obedience to God is important in everything we do. They were wonderful participants, every hand shot up to answer questions about the lesson.
After lunch a couple of us went into town to visit Malonea who is a good friend of our trip leader Diane Cornelius. They are such good friends that Malonea named her fourth child after Diane! It was incredible the see their living conditions and what little food they had. Some of the kids from the city were curious as to what we were doing. They moved closer and closer and before we knew we were playing games and taking pictures of them because they wanted to see their faces.
The day is coming to an end and we are preparing for the fittings that will take place tomorrow for the weddings that are happening on Tuesday. There is a lot of preparation that needs to be done before the weddings but the Haitians can’t wait for BINGO tomorrow! We have never played but we hear Diane throws an awesome bingo party. We can’t wait to see how the rest of the week goes and how the Lord will use us to serve the beautiful people here.
