HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Where do we begin? What an incredible day of ministry!
Yesterday we were on Day 2 of our Christmas Camp with 126 orphans! (Will blog about Day 2 & 3 of camp soon).
In preparation for the big night we had 1000’s of glow in the dark bracelets, toys, wands, & necklaces! We also had hundreds of hats, horns, & leis. AND – We also had fireworks ready for midnight!!
From 6pm-7pm we had a bonfire & roasted hot dogs in front of our cafeteria with our orphans. We had another bonfire happening with 300 people from the community by the basketball court!
Around 8:30pm we invited the children from the church to come to the cafeteria! We thought we might have 50 kids or so…. we had WAY more! Umm… we were just shy of 400 children!!
In the cafeteria: We watched a movie, snacked, & then had a dance party outside! At midnight the fireworks went off!
In the church: Revival broke out! The service started around 8:30pm and lasted until 5am this morning!! People were praying, dancing, & singing ALL night long. As soon as your feet hit the church steps – you felt the Holy Spirit move! Magdala came with the orphans from St. Louis and helped lead the worship with Pastor Agenor!

Here’s a few video clips from our New Year’s Eve Party! The two people dancing at the beginning are 70+ years old but they dance like they’re 20! There’s also a clip of our dance party with the kids & our fireworks!
NEW YEARS DAY
At 5am we passed out 500 sacks of rice & 200 bowls of pumpkin soup!
We also invited 200 children from the community to come and enjoy pumpkin soup! And of course all of our orphans were able to enjoy a bowl as well!!
At 7:30am – Miss Beth, Momma Gigi, & another lady from our Dame’s Group traveled by boat to deliver soup to Karenage & Preskul! (We will deliver food to Kapafu later this week).
YES – YES – YES — HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF HUNGRY PEOPLE GOT TO START THE NEW YEAR OFF WITH A FULL BELLY!!
YES – YES – YES – HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WERE REMINDED OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD TODAY!
Thank you – Thank you – Thank you! Thanks to your donations we were able to provide an incredible day of ministry – for the Mole & surrounding communities!
