Today many of us awoke to a 2-hour rainstorm just after midnight that was much needed after a hot day 5. After our morning devotion on the Armor of God that Paul wrote about in Ephesians we were to enjoy a great breakfast prepared by the kitchen staff. Then we prepped for a large game of Bingo amongst staff and orphans from the Northwest Haiti Mole Mission. The Rooted team brought 2 large suitcases of bingo prizes to make sure everyone would be included winning a prize. Items like towels, clothes, hat, toys and sunglasses were given away. What a great time we had helping the kids mark their bingo cards and to see the joy the kid’s faces when shouting bingo surely made our day.
After wrapping up Bingo we ate a quick lunch and were treated to an array of local artists and craftsmen who brought items for us to purchase. It was great to interact with the talented people and have them visit the Northwest Haiti Mole Mission today. Everyone found something to purchase to remind us of our wonderful opportunity to share His message on Haiti.
Later on the Rooted team prepped for a game day with the orphans. The orphans were split into three teams participating in a round robin competition. Some of the events included a wheelbarrow race, three-legged race and jumping through hula- hoops. As a grand finale the Rooted team challenged each of the three teams. We went 0-3 and enjoyed every loss. Upon the completion of the games we played kick ball and soccer for a couple hours.
Leaving soccer directly for dinner we spoke about our Sunday schedule and responsibilities for tomorrow during church. We are breaking into teams to service not only the orphans and the greater Mole community. When dinner was over we got ready for Movie Night with the orphans hosted in the dinning hall. “A Goofy Movie” was selected and the kids enjoyed a wonderful Disney movie with the Rooted team.
Thank you for your messages and responses back over the last few days. Also I appreciate you letting me share a blog about our day. May we always put His will above our own. This is ‘Papa’ Kirk☺

Hi Jennifer,
I read a little of your adventures in Haiti and I wanted to let you know a little of ours. Believe it or not, it is raining here too. Joshua just left for work hobbling along on his crutches due to his broken ankle. He is close to the end as he may be getting the cast off tomorrow. He may take it off himself if the doctor doesn’t. He’s definitely had enough of it.
His brothers are trying to move out but it’s a slower process than they would like. I know I will miss them SO much when the are gone but I do have plans for their rooms (Joshua will be moving out in the fall for school).
God bless you and your ministry. Be safe and enjoy yourself!! ❤️️
We love you! Aunt Sevine, Uncle Bill & The Boys

It has been so fun to hear how God is using each of you in so many different ways! Praying for continued impact. I have tried all week long to try to think of something funny to say on the comments but still have nothing. Hopefully Kelsey’s comment was funny enough for you. See you all soon!
Last attempt. We really do love you guys and really have been trying to leave comments and they really all do magically disappear. Earlier in the week Kelsey had to leave a comment because I couldn’t think of anything funny to say. Today I am trying to leave a comment and still have nothing funny to say. But we truly have loved hearing how God is using you and moving in each of you! See you all soon!
Hi Amanda and team,
