God has been walking with us through every step of the way throughout this trip. We’ve been planning for our women’s and men’s ministry with decorating, planning, and organizing.
There is so much to happen this week, some of us cannot even sleep and I think it is from the excitement of what to come, not due to the heat. I could sit here and write so much about our last few days, but the stories sound so much better in person. Just like the Grinch on Christmas morning, my heart is growing 3 times the size daily.
My time spent living and serving in Mole St. Nicolas, Haiti was without a doubt the most impactful and enriching experience of my life. I had the unbelievable honor of creating a dance studio within the community and developing a dance ministry.
We want to be changed by this experience, not just momentarily inspired. We hope to pour out joy and the heart of Christ to the people we come in contact within the present and future.
This trip has confirmed to me that I want to work/live abroad for a good part of my life, and I would love to live in remote village like Kapafu.
The grace, love, and kindness that I have been shown from the Haitians is unreal. It has been a blessing to be able to spend time with the Haitian people and pray with them. They have shown me how to unapologetically worship.
