Today we woke up and got to go to Church! It was really cool to not understand anything that was being said or done but still be able to feel the presence of God and witness the way the Haitians worship!
Hey y’all it’s Tyann! We had a very long but GREAT day today We all got up at 5am and took boats to Kapafu. After
Trey’s group took a 20-minute boat ride to Preskul, and did a Vacation Bible School there. They enjoyed getting to hang out and spend time coloring with the kids from the village. We finished with soccer and the kids loved it!
With every day that passes I am more and more amazed at how possible it is to communicate with someone who speaks a completely different language than you, and I’m also amazed at how little communication sometimes matters.
On Friday, May 3rd we hosted our annual Easter Egg Hunt & Children’s Church Party! We invited 60 children who had the most earned points in children’s church. We had a BLAST!
