The Mole Church Is Alive…

What I heard about today is just beyond words! I am so moved by what the church is doing – I have goosebumps!!

Momma Gigi just walked through my door. I asked her where she was today. This is her report….

Didn’t you know? We just got back from Karnage. At 2pm, 30 of us from the church went to pray with the elderly folks in the Mole. We divided up and even went to Malonea’s house! Then at 4pm WE WALKED FOR ONE HOUR TO KARANAGE (the mud village). We sang and we prayed while we walked! We stopped with people along the way and asked if we could pray with them. Everyone was surprised to see us walking. People on the street said  – the Mole has never had a church just take to the streets in such a large number and NO GROUP has ever walked to Karnage.

At Karnage we prayed and sang with the people. Then the pastor gave a short sermon. We invited everyone to church. Even if they have no shoes – they can come! The people were so surprised to see us. We spent two hours there just being the face and voice of Jesus. It’s 7pm and we just got back!

******

PRAISE THE LORD!! WITHOUT ANY AMERICAN PRESENCE (BECAUSE WE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT) – THE CHURCH WAS THE HANDS, FEET, AND FACE OF CHRIST!! SINCE HIRING THE NEW PASTOR – WE HAVE HELD STEADY AT 100 PEOPLE!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! AMEN!

  1. Being with the first group to visit Karnage, It brought tears to my eyes knowing that the church, on it’s own, went out to love on these beautiful people!!
God is moving! Let it not just be words but let us all keep praying for the Mole!!

Not to us but to Him be the Glory!!
