I can say we all had a very impactful week. Yes, we came to minister to them and YES, again they impacted us more than we probably delivered.
Pumpkin Soup is a New Year’s tradition in Haiti. The problem is, the ingredients are very expensive and difficult to find in our area.
Trey’s group took a 20-minute boat ride to Preskul, and did a Vacation Bible School there. They enjoyed getting to hang out and spend time coloring with the kids from the village. We finished with soccer and the kids loved it!
These people are strong and loving, and give everything they have. I have been truly honored to have been welcomed into their culture and getting to share with these people.
Today we had a busy day! After breakfast we went to a fishing village and held a clinic for the people there.
