Today we invited 20 kids to come for our Easter Party! Even though it was a week late – it was SO MUCH fun!
First we did face painting! While they were waiting their turn – Jose made chocolate suckers that the kids gobbled up right away!
I had 4 activity stations set up. There were crafts at each one. The kids spent 15 minutes at each station and then rotated.
Next we had Jocelyn share the Resurrection Story! He asked several questions and many of the children knew the answers! We asked for volunteers to pray for lunch and a cute little boy stood up and prayed!
Each child got a large helping rice and beans!
We ended the party playing games! The kids LOVED the bunny-hop sack race! They have never done anything like that before! We also played ring toss and darts! The kids took home large goody-bags and cupcakes!
What a great day to celebrate Jesus! 🙂
