Finding Hope In Him…

H.O.P.E.

That’s what we gave today. That was the word repeated over and over again this morning.

At 6am our staff met again to circle up in prayer. Then they handed out the remaining suitcases of solar lights!

The Haitians thanked us for our small gift. Not just because of what the light would allow them to do. But  because it gave them Hope. Hope that God really does hear them. When they were down to nothing –  they saw that God was up to something!

A small act of kindness. A simple act of service. A look of acknowledgement. A prayer answered.

Something so incredibly simple  – gave folks today a different perspective of where they were in the world at that moment.

Wherever we may be right now – God has called us ALL to be Hope-Builders!

To restore Hope in the homes of the hopeless.

To engage in acts of kindness for the forgotten.

To advocate for those who suffer quietly in need.

To acknowledge our neighbor in a more personal way.

To model Grace in our circumstances so our children may glean from us.

To help others seek wisdom and patience when its just so hard to understand.

***

Sometimes in the face of doubt – we have to remember to HOPE!

We have to KNOW –  that we are here to serve a greater purpose.

We must BELIEVE we actually CAN make a difference.
