Cistern For KaPaFu…

Back in March, Texas Tech collected funds and began construction on a cistern for our KaPaFu fishing village! I’m happy to report it’s completely finished!

The KaPaFu folks are incredibly thankful! We’ve had such powerful rain storms the last several days and now they have a way to collect the rain water! On nice days – row boats go back and forth from KaPaFu to the Mole filling the cistern with barrels of water!

We really want to build a little metal pavilion for this village. This would allow the community to have a shady place to meet together for devotions & a place to hide from the sun! It would also allow us another major way to collect rain water! We can run a gutter all around the tin roof and pipe it into the cistern! We need 900.00 to build it.
