Crossroads Day 5 & 6…

Hello everyone!

It’s a blessed day in the mole, a wonderful VBS, and today’s story was to kill the giant! We acted it out. Lauren we use Alberto the smallest and most timid to come at me –  the big giant –  with a sheppards pouch and twirling a shoestring (a sling shot). I put a rock to my forhead and fell to may face. The Kids loved it when he pretended to chop my head off. Then we put beads on sheppards pouches. Formed a line ladies first always (teaching the aggressive boys) and filled them with a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. They know with God on your side –  you can kill a giant.

Thursday the 3 Hebrew boys. It’s a blessing to see the beautiful chocolate faces smile. May God be with us!  Matt I hear your name being called all the time (the goats) God bless everyone Miss you the most Sweatheart Love Philemon the one Jesus loves.

Today has indeed been another great day. VBS went so well that we actually skipped the coloring today. We did question and answers at the end and if they got the answer they would get and air plane thanks to CEF. The children love those. Afterwards we went into town as usual. I always am looking forward to my Toro. Basically a red bull but soda. As we sat down by the market we saw some of the kids walking around with their shepard bags. They would be holding them with pride. Phil and I have taken a group of kids swimming almost every afternoon. I usually grab Naomi from the orphanage. So far we have taught Esperanta to back float and even swim a little bit. Cherlanda and Naomi have gotten the floating down a little bit. Tomorrow will be our last VBS and then Friday we are going to both fishing villages to bring rice to the people. I miss you my love and the kiddos. I love hearing Brie call my name and Ethan’s love. It will be a welcoming feeling when I get home. Thanks again for everyone’s support. Love you Sugar.

  1. Jedediah,
The pictures are just so sweets and I am sure they don’t do justice to what you and Phil feel while there. Praise God for this whole experience.
We love you and can’t wait to see you.

  2. God is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that we ask or think, and therosperity of this truth is evident in all the wonderful things happening in the daily VBS.

I see the abundance fruit in every word that you and JD share each evening with us, the joy in the children’s hearts, their eyes, and in the smiles on their faces. It is evident that God’s Word is abundantly true

Phil, I love you with all of me, and may God bless you, while we are absent, one from another.

  3. Oh, I’m so glad Alberto came and got to participate. I love that boy! And it seems that only the goats in Haiti say “Matt.” They are calling us back 🙂 Thank you so much for what you are doing for those sweet children. We are with you in spirit and prayer.
