Today’s post is about this silly and bubbly boy!

Keny is the king of silly around campus! He has some awesome silly faces that he loves to pull out for photos! Some of the pictures of him are just hilarious! He also quite enjoys photo-bombing other people’s photos! He just has so many great photo-ready faces, how could he resist?!

Keny runs with the older boys around campus while they play their favorite game, often soccer, or enjoy their favorite snack of sugar cane! Keny loves his brothers a lot and they are all really close.

Like many of the older children, Keny is also quite protective of his brothers and sisters. He will look out for them and make sure they are doing okay. He is a great protective brother!

Keny is a kid who is full of joy! He just has so much joy as well as contentment with life! He is just so silly sometimes and that big grin of his is definitely contagious! This joy of his comes from deep in his soul, it’s steadfast and unshakable. My prayer today is that Keny will continue to have this joyful outlook on life. I pray that he will continue to trust and follow God as he grows in his Christian walk. I pray that he will remain steadfast throughout life, that he will be a continued protector of his siblings and the vulnerable around him. I pray that his joyful heart will help influence and brighten the lives of those around him going through hardship. I pray that he will remain connected to Christ and that he will know that his joy comes from God alone, it is not based on life’s circumstances so it can never be taken from him. I want to circle this verse again that I prayed for Keny two years ago.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Keny’s Family Tree still needs 5 sponsors! This sweet, silly boy has been in need of these sponsors for awhile now and I’m asking, would you help fill that need??
