Last Thursday was our final competition. Teams had to create a 30-second cheer/dance for this week. These routines were recorded and posted on Facebook – so that our friends/family could vote for their favorite!
On Friday night, we gathered in the cafeteria again, so we could announce the winners of the cheer competition – as well as – the overall winning team from this summer.
Here’s a look at the cheers/dances from all 3 Teams:

On Friday Night, I presented a PowerPoint presentation. The slides included videos from each week, as well as a detailed list of points that each team earned.
After we calculated all the points – Malaya’s group won 1st place – beating Abbey’s team by 5 points & Mikela’s team by 10 points! That’s right…the groups were only 5 points apart after a long competitive summer!
Since Malaya’s team won, they were rewarded with a 4th of July Party! The festivities started at 6pm and ended around 10:30pm.
