2011 Year End Revival…

What an amazing week of worship! We’ve had singing, special prayer time, fasting, and amazing sermons! Yes, the revival has been in full swing since Christmas and will end tomorrow night!

The theme this year is taken from 1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

When the earthquake happened many Haitians believed that it was the end of the world. Jocelyn was in PAP when it happened. He along with many others took to the streets praying and seeking God. Some were in complete panic while others like Jocelyn were looking for Jesus in the clouds.

We never know when Jesus is coming or when our time here will come to an end. So what are we doing RIGHT NOW that is making Kingdom Impact? What are we doing as a church? What are we doing at our work? What are we doing at home? Are we truly seeking Him and His glory? Are we seeking ways to be His hands, feet, and face daily? Or is it just at church? Or just when we’re around our church friends?

Our church is being challenged to be alert – to be ready – to be prayerful – for the end is near! His return is an exciting thing – not something to be feared! We need to own the lostness of our community –  those that surround us every day. We need to make a daily pledge to help them find their way!

So here’s a question. If the end is near – what are you doing to help the lost find their way?
