Hey all-

The Black Mountain Group has a good story to tell- Planes, trains and automobiles (OK no trains but busses and tap taps). Willa and I lucked out and rode the plane with the others from Port Au Prince to the Mole. We were welcomed with a delicious meal, a tour of the town and dipped our toes in the water. It is gorgeous here. Beautiful scenery and beautiful people. The boys are still riding on the bus… They should be here around 8ish. Pleasant Valley set up the McLellan tent for us! Many thanks! I am looking forward to crashing with the wind in the palm trees as my lullaby. Thinking of you all. In His Love.

Hello Friends!

The Pleasant Valley group has arrived in the Mole! Everything went really smoothly with our travels – we had really nice people helping us in the airport. We had lunch and then the guys headed out to the construction site to set up their tents and get oriented out there. The ladies took a guided tour with some of Jody’s girls. We stopped by the construction site, then headed out toward the beach. That took us through a cool fort. Then we headed back to the mission to regroup. Our checked luggage is riding the bus from Port au Prince so we are looking forward to a major unpacking party later this evening! It’s awesome to be back and see familiar sites and even a few familiar faces! Thanks for your support and interest in our trip!

  16. Hi Jason,

Our thoughts, love, and prayers continue for you and all of your Team members – and of course, for the Haitians. We pray that your last hours there are all that you need and hope they will be. We pray that each of you has experienced and shared God’s love in a life changing way. We know that your lives have been touched in a meaningful way and that each of your lives and those with whom you have become friends and worked side-by-side with in Haiti have been enriched and blessed. We pray that you feel good about all that has been accomplished in ways that are seen and unseen. Our prayers continue for safety as you say goodbye and travel home. A lot of folks are waiting to welcome all of you home – and two precious little ones are eager to see their daddy. With love, Mom (and Dad and Kenny)
