But the burning question remains – Who are they going to light their lamp for?
I wrote this poem a few years ago…. each scenario something I’ve experienced. I feel compelled to share it again. This is just a reminder to teams how important it is to be the light in the darkness…. and to never stop praying that God will make Himself known to those who continue to suffer in silence.
“This ministry is changing lives in our community (Mole St. Nicolas). It’s giving ladies who are often abused/mistreated a chance to support their family and stand on their own.
I often get asked if Haitian Carnival/Mardi-Gras Season is voodoo? Or is it culture? I think if you checked Carnival’s Facebook status it would say: It’s complicated.
Help us bring rest to the weary so that they may stand in praise and crush satan beneath their feet.
A day for the books…the green military tent is gone!
