The story we read meant so much to the children, but it has forever changed the lives of those who read to them.
Despite the unrest going on in Haiti we want all of our friends and family to know that we have not experienced or seen any of that.
It was truly moving to see how much the kids craved a kind touch or a hug. The people in this village are incredibly strong and can move through anything as they have experienced many natural disasters and yet they continue to rebuild after each hurricane.
When we got there we split into 2 groups and went to different ends of the village, walking hut to hut and meeting the people. We would talk to them, play with the kids, and ask them what we could pray for them.
In our village it’s business as usual. If we didn’t have internet we wouldn’t even know anything was going on. As always, please continue to pray for Haiti.
