Northwest Haiti Christian Mission
Today was a clinic day here at the mission campus so some of us stayed to help out in the waiting room; playing with children in the waiting room and cleaning ears.
I loved that we were able to experience Haiti outside of the campus on our walk to Karenage this morning.
It was truly moving to see how much the kids craved a kind touch or a hug. The people in this village are incredibly strong and can move through anything as they have experienced many natural disasters and yet they continue to rebuild after each hurricane.
When we got there we split into 2 groups and went to different ends of the village, walking hut to hut and meeting the people. We would talk to them, play with the kids, and ask them what we could pray for them.
Today was the last day of VBS here and walking the kids home and saying good bye was hard, honestly. I’ll miss those lil baby angels. WOWIE I have learned so much from the kids here, I am so humbled.
Tonight we closed our time out together by having a bonfire on the beach. We roasted hot dogs….worshipped & shared devotions.
