Rooted ended their last day in the Mole like champs! Unfortunately the Internet ate the blog they wrote…so I’ll just give you a brief update
First we started with giving a spa day to the mothers that take care of the orphans. So the girls did that while the guys watched the orphans. After that we held an Easter Party for some of the kids from Children’s Church.
The teenagers helped us in clinic and then played with the orphan kids. Everyone is staying healthy and hydrated. The week is flying by!
We are excited to share that today was a great day! We preformed the Freedom Drama four times, most of which we did while dry.
It’s been a rainy day here in the Mole but that hasn’t stopped us from being His hands and feet today. We started our morning with a devotional from the book of Matthew reminding us that Jesus calls us out of our comfort zone, which was very fitting for today as the rains came down making everything just a little more difficult.
My team and I walked from house to house and asked what each needed needed prayer for, as well as spreading the word about VBS. A lot of the houses said they needed rain because they couldn’t maintain their crops.
