Northwest Haiti Christian Mission
When you tell people you are going to Haiti, the first things that come to mind are often negative, which is understandable-there is a lot of hardship and darkness here. But there’s also a lot of Jesus-please pray for this mission, they are bringing much light and glorifying the Father daily!
Today was the last day of VBS here and walking the kids home and saying good bye was hard, honestly. I’ll miss those lil baby angels. WOWIE I have learned so much from the kids here, I am so humbled.
Yesterday I met two friends. They walked through the gate today and immediately came running to me, and latched on. It is so special to know that despite the language barrier and them laughing every time I attempt to speak creole, they remember me.
Tonight we closed our time out together by having a bonfire on the beach. We roasted hot dogs….worshipped & shared devotions.
Karenage sits right on the water and has a beautiful people. We were able to see 36 patients and pray with most, if not all of them. We painted fingernails, colored pictures, blew bubbles and had lots of fun playing with kids in the village.
