Fowler Group Day 4…

Before leaving, Addison prayed over the family and then we broke up into two groups. One headed to David’s house with Bethany to continue working on sign language with his family, while my group headed back for Women’s Ministry.

Fowler Group Day 3…

I have come to describe church in Haiti as a full body experience. It was a mix of the passion in the pastor’s voice, the admiration in the congregation’s worship, and the swaying of hands in the air that reminded me that the words that initially seemed like gibberish to me were words of prayer and praise to the God that we share. The full two-hour service was powerful.

Fowler Group Day 2…

It’s been a great start to the week so far, and we can’t wait to get fully into the swing of things! We’re praying that Jesus is seen in every one of the interactions we have with people this week. We’d love it if you would join us in those prayers!

Texas Tech… Last Day

Tomorrow morning at sunrise I, along with two other team members, will be getting baptized in the ocean that God created! This is the place where I fell head over heels for the Lord two years ago. He showed me his everlasting love, pure joy, and stillness here. He used Haiti to begin softening and molding my heart into His heart.

Texas Tech Day 6…

I pray that my eyes would be open to him, to see his movement, to be doing as he does and to stand bold in a world that breathes rebellion against him, and there being a need for people to live as if heaven should come more and more to us each day. I love that even in construction today was completely about the loving union of God with us.
